Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest accommodations and common areas are impeccably clean, comfortable, and inviting. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a positive experience for our guests and maintaining the reputation of our hospitality services.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care procedures
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Follow established protocols for infection control and hygiene practices
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment
- Experience working in hotels or similar hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
