About the Role
Golden Racket Academy connects players with vetted private coaches who deliver one-on-one lessons at local courts across Cypress, TX, and the surrounding areas. We are expanding our Texas roster and looking for independent tennis coaches who are serious about building a reliable client base and committed to showing up.
This is a 1099 contractor role with full schedule flexibility. You set your availability, work with clients across the Cypress area, and coach on your own terms. No fixed hours, no facility commute, and no commitment beyond the sessions you choose to accept.

Compensation
- $40 to $50 per hour

Responsibilities
- Deliver private one-on-one lessons tailored to each client's level and goals
- Provide clear instruction on technique, footwork, stroke mechanics, strategy, and match play
- Travel to local HOA, community, or public courts across Cypress and surrounding communities
- Communicate professionally with clients on scheduling and progress
- Submit brief post-lesson notes through our website, used for client tracking and payment processing
What We Are Looking For
- Experience as a tennis coach or a strong playing background (NTRP 4.0+ preferred)
- Prompt, professional communication - this is the single most important thing we look for in our partners
- Reliable and ready to take on sessions quickly after onboarding
- Comfortable working with players of all levels, from beginners through advanced
- Reliable transportation to reach courts across your service area
- Certifications (USPTA, PTR) are a plus but not required
- Experience with youth or adult beginners is a plus
