Key Responsibilities
- Clinical procedure support during exams and treatments
- Administer physician‑directed treatments
- Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain smooth clinic flow
- Document patient information in Athena EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality care
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Support multiple specialties within the clinic
- Record vital signs accurately and efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Certification or Diploma in Medical Assisting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and patient‑care skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Required Experience
- Athena EMR: 1 year
- Vital Signs: 1 year
Preferred Certifications
- BLS Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
