Shift: Morning & evenings to align with event schedule
Pay: $16 - $17 + gratuity
Creative Dining Services is seeking a part time Caterer & Bartender for the Haworth Hotel on the campus of Hope College, in Holland, Michigan.
This role includes the working of coffee breaks, receptions, and campus events including set-up, service, and clean-up. Interacts with guests and customers at events with professionalism, service and grace. Charged with managing the bar operations, preparing and serving beverages and snacks to guests.
Ideal Candidate
- Part time as needed. Hours range from 0 - 25 based on the event schedule.
- 1 year of Bartending experience
- Must be 18 or older
Core Responsibilities
- Sets up, serves and cleans up dining room as directed.
- Ensures all dishes, utensils, and other equipment from the storeroom are clean and properly returned to their correct place.
- Able to transport food, beverages and related items to serving, or guest tables.
- Set up and cleanup of decorations, guest tables, and serving tables
- Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Restocks and replenishes bar inventory and supplies.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
The position of Catering staff involves work in a commercial kitchen, meeting room, banquet/ dining room or occasional outdoor environment. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
