General Manager – Campus Dining Services

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee all food service operations for a higher education dining program. This leadership role is responsible for managing daily operations, financial performance, client relationships, food quality, safety compliance, and team development across multiple dining locations.
The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with extensive experience in contracted food services and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all food service operations across multiple dining venues
Manage budgets, financial performance, payroll, and cash controls
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
Recruit, coach, and develop management and frontline teams
Oversee catering, retail dining, residential dining, convenience store, and vending operations
Drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of General Management experience in contracted food service
Strong culinary production and/or back-of-house (BOH) management experience
Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and financial management skills
Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing food service operations in a university or higher education environment
Multi-unit dining operations experience
Catering management experience
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
