Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across various systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct complex equipment repairs including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other building infrastructure components.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures swiftly to minimize downtime while adhering to safety protocols.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects or emergency repairs to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for accountability and future reference.
Experience
- This is a non leader postion just a tech.
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings effectively.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration technology is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience is highly desirable for handling diverse maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with equipment repair procedures and preventative maintenance practices across various mechanical systems.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment requiring quick problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
