Overview
Mena Music Lessons is a Dallas based music studio that provides private music lessons in students' homes for ages 3 and up. We are seeking private piano, voice, and guitar instructors who are fun & passionate about working with kids. Students are located in the Highland Park and Lakewood areas of Dallas, allowing for efficient travel between students. Most students need lessons M-F 330-730pm, but you can set your own schedule and hours. We work with great, supportive families who make the experience very enjoyable for the students and teachers.
Duties
- Teach private lessons in the comfort of students' homes ages 3 and up. (You can designate the ages you feel comfortable working with.)
- Teach music theory, technique, and follow the curriculum.
- Provide individualized instruction to students
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress
- Make lessons hands on, fun, and engaging.
- Follow all company expectations and policies and maintain professionalism with families and students
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelors degree in Music or currently enrolled in a music program
- At least 1 year of teaching experience
- A reliable car to commute to students' homes weekly
- Ability to adapt student lessons based on their needs and learning styles
- Professional, organized, reliable, and strong communication skills
- Willingness to commit to teaching for at least 1 year
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $58.00 - $65.00 per hour
