Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Per Diem
Location: New York, NY 10025
Pay: $24/hour
Schedule: All Shifts | Per Diem
Setting: Nursing Home
We are seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for per diem nursing home opportunities in New York, NY.
Coverage is needed primarily on weekends, with additional weekday shifts available, so candidates must have flexibility in their schedules.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Take and record vital signs
- Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Provide compassionate and respectful resident care
Requirements
- Active New York CNA certification
- Minimum 6 months of CNA experience required
- Must have schedule flexibility, particularly for weekend coverage
- Must be available for an in-person facility interview on Monday or Friday between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM
- Must attend a mandatory 4-day orientation
