Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Assist with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient knife skills for efficient food preparation.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Experience in menu planning, particularly for fine dining establishments.
