Duties
- Support the setup and operation of power tools and hand tools safely during various construction tasks.
- Participate in pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and welding activities under supervision to develop core plumbing skills.
- Maintain compliance with building codes, safety protocols, and OSHA standards throughout all tasks.
- Help with routine plumbing system maintenance and repair on construction sites or existing facilities.
- Support team members in remodeling projects, plumbing task and diagnostics.
Skills
- Basic construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems and installation techniques.
- Knowledge of construction plumbing practices and familiarity with pipe threading and fitting procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used on site.
- Strong understanding of building code compliance related to plumbing installations.
- Good basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation tasks.
- Excellent safety protocol adherence with a focus on power tool safety and site safety standards.
- Customer service mindset when interacting with clients or team members on-site.
- Handyman experience or background in remodeling, maintenance, or general construction is a plus.
