Carpenter / Cabinet Modification Specialist
King Appliance Installs is looking for a dependable carpenter with at least two years of hands-on experience to join our growing team.
This position supports our appliance installation crews with light to moderate cabinet and finish carpentry work. We are looking for someone who is skilled, solution-oriented, and comfortable working inside customers’ homes.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Adjusting or modifying cabinets to accommodate appliances
- Cutting countertop or cabinet openings for cooktops and other appliances
- Installing custom appliance panels
- Building or modifying filler panels and trim pieces
- Making minor cabinet repairs and adjustments
- Assisting with specialty appliance installations as needed
- Measuring carefully and maintaining a clean, professional work area
We are not looking for someone who knows absolutely everything. We are looking for someone with a solid carpentry foundation who is willing to learn the appliance installation side of the business.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of carpentry or cabinet experience
- Comfortable using standard carpentry tools
- Able to take accurate measurements and make clean cuts
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Professional, respectful, and comfortable working in occupied homes
- Able to communicate well and work as part of a team
- Cabinetry, finish carpentry, or custom panel experience is a plus
