USA Rehab Services is seeking a motivated and dependable Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing inpatient rehabilitation team. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for both experienced providers and motivated new graduates interested in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), inpatient rehab, and hospital-based patient care.
This role offers scheduling flexibility, supportive physician collaboration, and the opportunity to grow with an expanding rehab practice focused on restoring function and improving patient outcomes. Providers will work within multiple rehab hospitals and hospitals throughout the greater Atlanta area.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits in inpatient rehabilitation settings
Collaborate with supervising physician and interdisciplinary care teams
Document encounters and treatment plans accurately and efficiently
Assist with rehabilitation-focused patient management and care coordination
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with clinical teams
Patient Population
We care for rehabilitation patients including stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, medically complex patients, fractures, joint replacements, and other rehabilitation diagnoses.
Qualifications
Active Georgia NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Interest in rehabilitation medicine, hospital medicine, neurology, orthopedics, or PM&R preferred
1 year of rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
Schedule & Compensation
Flexible schedule averaging approximately 4–5 hours per day
Expected patient volume varies day-to-day
1099 independent contractor position
Compensation structure may be hourly or productivity/per-patient based
Two-week training period provided
