Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh sandwiches according to customer specifications with precision and care
- Greet guests warmly, taking their orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage food inventory levels, restocking ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting other team members during busy periods to ensure quick service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions and product knowledge
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient cashiering and sales transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic attitude that makes guests feel valued
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen or café setting while supporting team collaboration
