Position Summary: The Sales Support Representative serves as the primary inbound contact for clients and leads, delivering high-quality client success support and sales enablement to help retain customers and drive revenue. This hands-on role qualifies inbound leads, handles client inquiries, supports outside sales with quotes and order processing, and ensures smooth handoffs and excellent client experience.
Key Roles / Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound phone calls, emails, and web inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Qualifying inbound leads: gather contact details, needs, timeline, budget, and buying readiness; record and update CRM entries.
- Route qualified leads to outside sales with clear handoff notes and follow-up tasks.
- Support outside sales: prepare quotes/proposals, assist with order entry, track contract and fulfillment status.
- Manage client issues (billing, product questions, returns, scheduling); resolve or escalate according to guidelines.
- Conduct onboarding tasks and follow-ups to ensure timely time-to-value for new clients.
- Maintain accurate CRM and ticket records; document interactions and next steps.
- Follow up on outstanding quotes, renewals, and service requests to advance opportunities.
- Contribute client feedback and suggestions to product, operations, and sales teams.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- 2+ years in client success, customer service, inside sales, or sales support.
- Strong phone presence and clear verbal/written communication.
- Experience qualifying leads and supporting sales workflows.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, MS Dynamics or similar) and MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Customer-focused, team-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally.
- Experience in B2B environments or supporting outside sales teams – Preferred
- Familiarity with quoting/order-entry tools and basic contract/admin processes - Preferred
