Position Overview
As a Gallery Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in supporting daily store operations while helping drive sales and maintain the visual integrity of the gallery space. This role works closely with the team to create an engaging and welcoming environment where guests feel connected to the merchandise and the stories behind it.
Supervisors actively support the sales floor by assisting customers, resolving service or checkout issues, and ensuring the store maintains high visual and operational standards. Through authentic customer engagement and product knowledge, you will help guests discover items that resonate with them while fostering meaningful shopping experiences.
This position will primarily be working at The Vault. Applicants must be available to work 4 10-hour shifts, including Thursdays and Sundays, through mid-August.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of merchandise and share product information with guests
- Model and promote a culture of positive customer service, teamwork, and goal-oriented performance
- Supervise and coach Gallery Sales Associates; ensure punctuality, readiness, and completion of assigned duties
- Provide ongoing training and communicate opportunities for skill development or process improvement to Managers
- Assist with receiving stock, updating back-stock logs, and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Uphold visual merchandising standards by pricing, stocking, cleaning displays, folding, sweeping, and maintaining overall store presentation
- Maintain a clean and polished appearance for jewelry and displays
- Promote best sales practices to drive revenue growth
- Engage with customers to understand preferences, recommend products, and provide detailed information about materials, craftsmanship, and cultural significance
- Perform opening and closing duties while ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
- Provide support in resolving register, computer, or customer service issues
- Maintain commission logs where applicable
- Follow established security protocols to safeguard merchandise and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff
- Demonstrate operational knowledge of all store locations and provide coverage as needed
- Escalate personnel, safety, or customer service concerns to Managers promptly
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting and long-lasting relationships
- Knowledge of retail sales processes and familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Understanding of store operations and ability to support multiple locations when needed
- Knowledge of associate job duties and responsibilities
- Proficiency with cash register systems, including troubleshooting issues
- Ability to perform and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
- Must be available to work every Sunday and Monday, with choice of other additonal days.

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
