Job Overview:
TCC is seeking a skilled and motivated property maintenance technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs at our east side apartment complexes. You’ll be a key part of our team, helping to ensure that all properties are in excellent condition, meeting the high standards our clients and residents expect.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs for residential properties, including plumbing, light electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and prevent issues before they arise.
- Respond promptly to work order requests and ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction.
- Work closely with property management to prioritize and complete work orders.
- Assist in unit turnover between tenants.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair common household systems and appliances.
- Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage time effectively while communicating with the team and tenants.
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- On-call availability for maintenance requests as needed (rotating on call schedule).
- Must have a smart phone, able to learn and use job related software for updating work orders and communicating with the team.
- Experience with Appfolio or similar maintenance work order systems preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
