Purpose: The Proposal Writer supports the full proposal development lifecycle by crafting clear, compliant, and compelling written content and contributing to creative production.
At the direction of Proposal Directors, participates in the development, construction, and production of proposals across all phases including SOQs, RFQs, and RFPs
Crafts proposal sections that are clear, concise, accurate, and compliant with established templates and submission requirements, incorporating feedback from reviews through final submission; maintains consistency in language, tense, formatting, and overall presentation across proposal materials
Writes, edits, and formats proposal content including solution narratives, management approaches, technical descriptions, presentations, and supporting documentation
Gathers supporting information to craft responses to specific inquiries and information requests; facilitates cross-discipline coordination with Operations, Marketing & Communications, Business Development Finance, Legal, SMEs, and consultants
Contributes to creative production by assisting with layout, graphics support, infographic development, and visual integration within proposal documents
Archives proposal elements, project data, boilerplates, graphics, and templates; maintains and updates proposal-related artifacts including project summaries and supporting visuals
Reporting relationship: The Proposal Writer reports to the Director of Proposal Creative & Technical Services
