Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping & Receiving / Inventory Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling, while working collaboratively to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
- Support material handling and maintain supply levels for fabrication and finished goods
- Ensure accuracy of shipments, documentation, and inventory records
- Coordinate truckload (TL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) pickups
- Calculate LTL freight rates and determine best shipping methods based on cost and delivery timelines
- Perform cycle counts and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures
- Maintain housekeeping, packaging supplies, and overall organization
- Communicate effectively with Operations and Commercial teams
- Follow all safety regulations, policies, and quality standards
- Assist other departments as needed, including outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Department Manager

Qualifications
- Recent experience (within the past year) in a Shipping & Receiving role
- Experience with inventory control, material handling, and cycle counting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs periodically
