ESY Substitute Teachers
Summer Program: July 6, 2026 - August 6, 2026
Schedule varies Monday through Thursday

QUALIFICATIONS:
Individuals serving as substitute teachers shall be licensed teachers except as hereinafter provided. If licensed teachers are not available, non-licensed staff may be employed under the conditions set below.

a Bachelors Degree or greater

MA DESE Licensure, preferred but not required

completed the application & hiring process

completed Human Resources on-boarding process

all reference checks cleared
In addition to these requirements, a current CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) must be completed every year. A Fingerprint Background Check is also required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assume full responsibilities associated with the classroom teacher for the day as informed by the ESY Coordinator.
SALARY: $45 per hour
