We are a well-established kitchen exhaust cleaning company serving commercial clients throughout the region, and we’re looking for a Foreman to lead our cleaning crews. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone with experience in commercial hood and duct cleaning, mechanical maintenance, or fire safety systems.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and work alongside a crew during overnight cleaning operations
- Ensure all kitchen exhaust systems are cleaned to FDNY fire code standards
- Perform quality control inspections and complete job reports
- Communicate with customers and management regarding scheduling, site access, and service results
- Train and mentor technicians on proper equipment use, safety, and cleaning techniques
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen exhaust cleaning or related field experience
- Working knowledge of NFPA 96, OSHA safety procedures, and FDNY fire-code compliance
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. FDNY COF
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work overnight shifts
- Strong leadership and communication skills
