Duties
- Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting vital signs accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit.
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols and safety standards.
- Support physicians and healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as X-ray processing, basic life support (BLS), and ICD coding for accurate billing.
- Operate EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to document patient information efficiently and securely.
- Manage medical supplies, maintain equipment readiness and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in Clinical Setting, such as hospitals or free standing clinics.
- Demonstrating adaptability under pressure.
- Familiarity with procedures such as intake processes, vital signs collection, ICD coding, and medication administration.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatric ICU (PICU), or internal medicine patients is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems and medical terminology to ensure precise documentation and communication.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments such as Hospital or busy outpatient clinics while maintaining high standards of patient service and safety.
