We are hiring a Field Engineer for our aggregate equipment sales and rental business. This role is designed for engineers who want hands-on experience, real responsibility, and exposure to large-scale industrial equipment early in their careers.
Murrysville Machinery Company is an OEM representative and leading provider of material processing solutions including crushing, screening, and conveying equipment used to process diverse materials: inorganic aggregate, sand and gravel, organic soils, clays, recycled and other materials.
Founded in April of 1987, Murrysville Machinery Company provides equipment and processing solutions to customers seeking to process material for large and small projects. We service diverse industries including mining, quarry, construction, demolition, coal, yard, metals, recycling, landfill, waste, government, municipal and many others.
As a Field Engineer, you’ll be trained to act as the Project Manager for new equipment installations and will travel to customer sites to inspect equipment, work with operators, and ensure proper operation, maintenance, and safety compliance at MSHA-regulated mine and quarry sites.
Location: New Stanton, PA - Regional travel required

Responsibilities
- Serve as the Project Manager for new equipment installations, guiding projects from delivery through startup
- Travel to mine and quarry sites to inspect crushing, screening, and conveying equipment
- Learn how aggregate equipment operates in real-world conditions
- Verify equipment is being operated and maintained correctly and safely
- Identify improper use, excessive wear, or unsafe practices and communicate findings
- Work directly with customers, operators, and internal service teams
- Document inspections, installations, and equipment conditionParticipate in safety meetings and gain exposure to MSHA regulations (training provided)
- Other duties as required by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mining, Civil, or related)Strong interest in hands-on, field-based engineering work
- Willingness to travel to customer job sites
- Mechanical curiosity and desire to learn heavy equipment systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work safely in industrial environments Valid driver’s license
- No aggregate or MSHA experience required — we provide training.
- Must wear required PPE at all job sites
