Andersons Frozen Custard ( in Kenmore, NY) is looking for a part time ice cream delivery truck driver and ice cream maker.
Driving a 20 ft long freezer truck to various locations around WNY, including all Anderson’s locations in addition to various other wholesale customers. This job consists of long periods of time in a freezer handling frozen products and loading those products onto the truck for delivery. Orders are organized onto a cart in the freezer, rolled outdoors to the truck, and then rolled onto the lift of the truck.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be at least 18 years of age
Need to provide their driving record and get a medical examination as per the Department of Transportation
Physical ability to repetitively lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Ability to push/pull a dolly loaded with up to approx. 100-300 pounds of product

A. For shifts at IC Dept: paid training starting at $19/hour to be increased to $20+/hour based on performance once training is complete

Reporting Relationships:
You will report directly to the IC Department Manager
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
A. Ensure that the IC Dept operations follow all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
B. Communicating effectively with all Anderson’s Management and Wholesale Customers.
C. Loading and unloading the IC Truck with frozen products.
D. Efficiently and accurately delivering products to each location.
E. Protect Anderson’s brand experience by ensuring all product quality/service expectations are met.
