About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations in our grocery wholesale distribution center. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory control, logistics, shipping, delivery, staff management, etc. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management system, warehouse efficiency, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Inventory Management
- Direct daily warehouse operations — receiving, put-away, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure FEFO (First Expire, First Out) rotation of goods.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Oversee warehouse layout and storage optimization to improve flow and reduce handling time.
Logistics & Distribution
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, truck scheduling, and dock management.
- Ensure on-time and accurate deliveries (local, national, international).
- Manage third-party carriers and maintain cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Verify shipping documentation, manifests, and bills of lading.

Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, forklift operators, and shift leads.
- Establish clear performance standards (KPIs) and track productivity.
- Create and maintain a positive, safety-focused team culture.
- Handle scheduling, performance reviews, and staffing needs.
Safety, Compliance & Maintenance
- Enforce any local and state standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, including forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Conduct regular safety audits and compliance inspections.
Technology & Reporting
- Manage warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and workflow.
- Generate performance and cost-control reports for management review.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation or process redesign.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in wholesale grocery
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations.
- Experience with WMS or ERP systems.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
