We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This full-time, permanent role requires a dedicated professional with a deep understanding of psychiatric care and a passion for improving the lives of patients struggling with mental health disorders and substance abuse. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and effective care.
Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to patients suffering from mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis conditions.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of patients.

Administer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with substance use disorders, and manage their progress.

Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mental health conditions and determine appropriate interventions.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the delivery of comprehensive patient care.

Ensure compliance with behavioral health regulations, standards, and practices.

Perform risk assessments and utilize de-escalation techniques to manage patients in crisis.

Assist in detox processes, providing necessary medical care and support.

Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and available treatment options.
Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Active Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on substance use disorders, dual diagnosis care, and detox.

Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation.

In-depth knowledge of behavioral health regulations and compliance standards.

Exceptional patient assessment skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Experience in risk assessment and de-escalation techniques.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
