Job Description: We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team at our Tennessee facility. Your primary focus will be assembling our premium Ready-To-Assemble (RTA) cabinets and helping maintain day-to-day warehouse operations.
Please Note: This position is strictly a manual warehouse and assembly role.
No forklift or order/item picker operation is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cabinet Assembly: Build high-quality solid wood kitchen and bathroom cabinets efficiently and accurately according to company guidelines.
- Tool Operation: Safely and effectively operate standard power tools and air-powered (pneumatic) tools to construct cabinetry.
- Order Staging & Processing: Pick, pack, unbox, and stage cabinet parts and completed units for shipping, delivery, or customer pick-up.
- Manual Loading/Unloading: Assist in safely loading and unloading delivery trucks and customer vehicles by hand.
- Inventory & Organization: Help organize warehouse aisles, rotate stock, and track inventory levels.
- Quality Control: Inspect cabinet components for damage or defects prior to assembly to ensure our high product standards are met.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, regularly sweeping assembly areas and disposing of packaging materials.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Tool Experience: Prior experience operating power tools and air-powered tools is required.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to routinely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and wrapping cabinets for the duration of the shift.
- Location: Must be able to commute to our La Vergne, TN warehouse (This posting is for the TN location only).
- Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to meet our 5-7 day order lead times.
- Experience: General warehouse or assembly experience is highly preferred. Background in carpentry, furniture building, or cabinetry is a major plus!
Benefits & Compensation:
- Predictable Monday-Friday schedule (No weekends!)
- Pay: $17.00-$19.00
