Job Summary:
The Asphalt Laborer assists the asphalt crew in the preparation, placement, spreading, and finishing of asphalt on roads, parking lots, driveways, and other paved surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with asphalt paving, patching, and repair operations
- Rake, shovel, and spread hot asphalt to specified grade and depth
- Prepare and clean job sites, including traffic control setup
- Support equipment operators and compact asphalt
- Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Reliable attendance and teamwork
Work Environment:
- Outdoor construction sites with exposure to heat, heavy equipment, and traffic
