Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. Duties
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and supports individual learning styles.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools and monitor each child's growth in areas such as childhood development, social skills, and early intervention needs.
- Incorporate special education strategies and adapt lessons to meet the needs of children requiring additional support or accommodations.
- Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety protocols are followed, including first aid and CPR certification.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and implementing Montessori or similar educational philosophies is preferred.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children while fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education practices, early intervention strategies, and standardized testing procedures.
- Familiarity with child welfare policies and experience working within private school or daycare environments is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or Montessori training are highly valued.
