$19.00 to $24.64/hr. base rate (based on experience and credentials)

The Cedars is hiring experienced Certified Residential Medication Aides (CRMA) and Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.
We are seeking dependable professionals who are committed to supporting seniors with dignity, respect, and independence while delivering high-quality care in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications in accordance with Maine state regulations and community policies (CRMA)
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care and emotional support
- Monitor resident well-being and report changes in condition
- Support resident engagement, activities, and daily routines
- Follow individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Maine 40-Hour CRMA Certification (for CRMA applicants)
- Minimum one year of assisted living, direct care, healthcare, senior care, or long-term care experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certification
- Memory care or dementia care experience
- Experience assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Knowledge of resident-centered care practices
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
