POSITION OVERVIEW:
Directs and manages daily operations for 1-6 Club locations, ensuring comprehensive, outcome-driven program delivery and service excellence. Oversees staff supervision and development, facilities management, financial operations, community and parent relations, and membership administration. Provides leadership and support to AreaSite Coordinators in volunteer management, staffing, parent engagement, membership data maintenance, fee collection, and facility operations.
ESSENTIAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership

Ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant environment by maintaining facilities, equipment, and supplies in accordance with organizational standards and applicable regulations.

Recruit, train, manage, and provide career development opportunities for AreaSite Coordinators, Youth Development Coordinators, and Registrars; monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Provide leadership and direction to AreaSite Coordinators in the management of their designated sites; conduct regular staff meetings and site visits to address operational issues and concerns.

Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures at all locations; oversee administrative and operational systems, including maintenance and operation of physical properties and equipment.

Create an environment that facilitates achievement of youth development outcomes with responsibility for cleanliness, safety, and overall quality of facilities and equipment.
Strategic Planning

Support the implementation of strategic planning processes for program development and organizational goals.

Serve as liaison between site staff and Director of Impact and Outcomes; facilitate effective communication regarding activities, needs, and performance accountability measures.

Evaluate site services and activities to ensure alignment with stated objectives and member needs; compile regular reports on activities, attendance, and participation.
Resource Development

Manage financial resources by participating in annual budget development; monitor expenditures and make recommendations for supplies and equipment purchases.

Supervise AreaSite Coordinators and Registrars to ensure proper membership fee collection and reconciliation procedures are followed weekly with accurate and timely entry into accounting systems; maintain 90% collection rate, meet weekly membership fee budget goals, and apply scholarships according to organizational policy.
Partnership Development and Relationship Management

Collaborate daily with Club professional staff to communicate organizational mission, program objectives, and standards; address member discipline, advisement, and counseling needs as appropriate.

Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with parents, school officials, community leaders, and organizations to resolve issues, support member success, and promote Club programs.

Represent the Club at community functions and participate in community initiatives; maintain regular engagement with community stakeholders.
Marketing and Public Relations

Collaborate with the Resource Development Director to document and promote Club activities and ensure visibility of assigned Club site(s).

Ensure staff compliance with organizational MarketingCommunications Policy and Unit Fundraising Policy.

Recruit youth to programs through school visits, community events, and promotional activities.
Record Keeping and Human Resources

Ensure daily attendance collection procedures are followed, and attendance data is entered into the member tracking database weekly by assigned staff.

Monitor attendance records against program schedules and grant requirements; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Review and verify staff timesheets biweekly; resolve discrepancies before submitting them to Chief Operations Officer.

Ensure mandatory background checks and all new hire paperwork is completed and verified prior to any staff member or volunteer having contact with youth, in accordance with state regulations and organizational policy.

Maintain current, complete, and confidential Club member and employee files in compliance with privacy regulations and organizational standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):

High school diploma; bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred

A minimum of 3-5 years' work experience in a BoysGirls Club or similar organization or equivalent experience, specifically planning and supervising developmental needs-based activities.

Thorough knowledge of recreation and youth development

Experience managing facilities, operations, and overseeing personnel at all organizational levels.

Strong capabilities in staff recruitment, training, development, and team motivation.

Ability to address members' behavioral challenges

Demonstrated ability to work with young people, parents and community leaders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computing functions (typing, email, web-based applications).
- Must have a reliable vehicle for daily/weekly travel between Club sites; travel compensation included in salary. Must be able to upgrade license to CDL Class B with Passenger (P) Endorsement and comfortable operating a full-sized school bus, within the first 90 days of employment.
