Job Description:
We are currently seeking a CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our supply chain operations by setting up and running CNC Swiss Lathe machines to manufacture products to our customers’ specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities
· Setup Swiss 7+ Axis CNC Lathe (Tsugami SS327-5AX): Setup a machine including tooling, bar feeder, and collets to ensure parts will be machined to print.
· Machine Parts: Manufacture parts and ensure they are to print by performing regular in-process inspections at the machine.
· Record Keeping: Log time and maintain accurate records of jobs worked on, operations performed, and quantities completed. Complete required paperwork such as Operator Reports and signing off on operations completed.
· Adherence to Company Policy: Following all safety regulations and company policies. This includes managing time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
· Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving any issues that arise during manufacturing, such as tooling, program, or material problems.
· Communication: Staying in touch with managers to provide updates on job status, report any delays, and receive new instructions.
· Team Player: Works well with others to achieve shared goals of quality and on time delivery.
· Safety: Prioritizing personal safety, as well as the safety of others by using appropriate safety equipment and following all safety requirements.
Qualifications:
· Can Read a Print: Ability to read a print and understand GD&T callouts
· Experience Cutting Exotic Materials: Be able to machine Inconel, MP35N, and other exotic materials
· Hold Tight Tolerances: Be able to machine deep bores and tight tolerances holding +/- .001” or less
· Tooling Knowledge: Working knowledge of insert usage and types (DNMG vs CNMG)
· Experienced in Setups: Able to perform setups and bore collets unassisted
· Understands Machine Code: Able to read and understand machine code with the ability to do minimal modifying/editing of programs on FANUC Controls
· Owns Inspections Tools: Owns Inspection tools (mics, calipers, indicators, etc.) and keeps them in good working condition. Will need to provide pictures at time of hire.
· English Language Skills: Can read, write, and speak fluent English

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift minimum – overtime offered but not required when workload allows
- Day shift – 6 AM Start Time
Experience:
- CNC Lathe Experience: 10 years (Preferred)
- CNC Swiss Lathe Experience: 5 years (Preferred)
