Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool and Hot TubTechnician to join our team. This is a great opportunity to learn a lucrative trade. As a Pool and Hot Tub Technician, you will be responsible for providing maintenance services, repairs, and equipment installations for our clients. Your expertise in equipment repair and mechanical knowledge will ensure that pools and hot tubs are properly maintained and functioning at their best.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool and hot tub cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing
- Test water chemistry and make necessary adjustments to maintain proper balance
- Inspect pool and hot tub equipment for any issues or malfunctions
- Repair or replace equipment as needed, such as pumps, filters, and heaters
- Perform pool and hot tub openings and winterization procedures
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical work related to pool equipment
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site
- Opportunity to achieve a Certification for Service Technicians through the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance. PHTA certification represents excellence in achievement and demonstrates proficiency in the pool and hot tub profession.
Skills:
- Experience as a Service Technician or similar role, we are willing to train the right person
- Strong knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and maintenance procedures
- Ability to diagnose and repair pool equipment issues
- Proficient in using hand tools for equipment repair
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
- Familiarity with power tools for more complex repairs is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Must have a clean driving record
