American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN for a day-shift position serving the East Portland, OR area and surrounding regions, requiring active OR and WA licenses and at least one year of skilled home health experience.

Home health setting serving East Portland, OR and surrounding areas

1:1 patient ratio with visits of up to 6 patients per day; 30 productivity points is the standard
-
8-hour day shifts (5x8); 4x10 and 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated

No weekend requirements

No on-call requirements

Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

Charting is done via Epic Remote Client for Home Health (laptop) and Rover (phone app); OASIS documentation required

Occasional driving required with a maximum radius of roughly 60 miles (60–90 minute total drive time) per day; the system groups clients to minimize drive time
-
Active RN license in both Oregon (OR) and Washington (WA) required; pending licensure in both states may be accepted

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required

OASIS experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Own reliable transportation required

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Primary COVID-19 vaccination series plus one booster required

Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within a 50–75 mile radius of the facility are considered local and are eligible at the same rate

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility they are applying to

Prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must be disclosed, including location and dates

RTO is minimal; a few days may be approved, but significant RTO requests are discouraged

Business casual attire required; scrubs are permitted (no specific color) but jeans are not allowed
