Occupational Therapist: Help Kids Find Their Superpowers!
Are you an Occupational Therapist who believes that "play" is the most important work a child can do?
Are you looking for a clinic where you actually enjoy your coworkers, feel seen by your leadership, and connect deeply with the families you serve? At Ability Innovations, we aren’t just a clinic; we’re an interdisciplinary team of OTs, PTs, and SLPs dedicated to a whole-child strategy.
We were founded by an Occupational Therapist who "gets it." We know you need support, clinical autonomy, and a team that has your back.
Our Mission & Values
We are a pediatric therapy company with heart. We use developmental play, authentic engagement, and strength-based methods to help Utah’s young heroes gain the superpowers they need for tomorrow.
Our Core Values are the backbone of our hiring process:
- People First: Relationships are our priority.
- Work Hard, Play Hard, Love Harder: We bring high energy and deep compassion.
- Honesty & Accountability: We take ownership of our growth.
- Improve & Innovate: We create experiences, not just appointments.
- Focus on Ability: We see potential where others see limitations.
The Role: What You’ll Do
As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, you won't just be "treating patients"—you’ll be changing lives.
- Evaluate & Ignite: Assess child development and family dynamics to create play-based intervention plans that work in the real world.
- Collaborate: Partner with PTs and Speech Therapists to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to care.
- Mentor & Lead: Supervise COTAs, aides, and students, sharing your expertise to grow the next generation of therapists.
- Advocate: Educate families and provide them with the tools to support their "hero" at home.
- Communicate: Deliver high-quality written chart notes, evaluations, and progress reports that keep families and physicians in the loop.
- Innovate: Maintain therapy spaces and work to enhance our Core Values within the clinic every day.

- Skills: Outstanding time management, organizational habits, and interpersonal communication.
