Overview
Looking for experienced siding crews to install James Hardie siding. Join our dynamic construction team as a Siding Installer sub-contractor. $500-$700 per square.
Duties
- Measure, cut, and install various siding materials including vinyl, fiber cement, metal, and stucco according to project specifications and blueprints
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete siding projects with precision
- Follow all construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection equipment
- Perform related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, framing, and minor roofing repairs as needed to support overall exterior finishing work
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project specifications throughout each phase of installation
Requirements
- Proven experience in siding installation or related construction fields such as roofing, stucco, or remodeling
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, heavy lifting, masonry, welding, tile laying, and other exterior construction techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including fall protection harnesses and ladder use protocols
- Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing
- Basic understanding of schematics, framing carpentry (including metal stud framing), plumbing, concrete forming, restoration work, drywall installation, and handyman skills is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly
