About X.G.C. Innovations:
X.G.C. Innovations, LLC is a fully licensed, insured and bonded residential construction and remodeling company. We are looking for an experienced, dependable and versatile construction professional who wants more than temporary employment.
This position is intended for someone who wants to build a stable career, become an important part of our team and grow with the company as we expand. We are not hiring for a temporary
project, seasonal position or short-term fill-in role.
We value quality workmanship, honesty, accountability, respect for our customers and pride in the finished product. The right candidate will understand that construction is not only about
completing a task—it is also about protecting the customer’s home, communicating
professionally, maintaining a clean work area and standing behind the quality of the work.
Primary Skills We Are Seeking
Qualified applicants should have hands-on residential remodeling experience in several of the
following areas:
Interior and exterior painting
Drywall installation and drywall repair
Taping, spackling, skim coating and sanding
Base molding, casing, crown molding and other trim installation
Laminate, luxury vinyl plank and other flooring installation
Interior and exterior door installation
Window installation and replacement
Basic wall framing
Basic deck framing and repairs
Selective demolition, preparation and jobsite protection
Caulking, finish work and punch-list completion
Applicants are not expected to be a master of every trade listed above. However, candidates must be independently capable in several of these areas and willing to learn the company’s preferred installation methods and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
The selected employee will be expected to:
Perform residential remodeling and repair work safely and professionally.
Measure, lay out, cut, fit and install materials accurately.
Complete assigned work without requiring constant supervision.
Follow project instructions, plans and established company procedures.
Protect flooring, walls, furniture and other customer property before beginning work.
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
Use tools, ladders and construction equipment responsibly.
Communicate problems, material needs and concealed conditions promptly.
Work cooperatively with the company owner, other employees, subcontractors and customers.
Accept constructive feedback and make reasonable corrections when required.
Treat customers, coworkers and their property with respect.
Assist with material handling, setup, cleanup and debris removal when necessary.
Maintain consistent quality from the beginning of a project through final completion.
The Type of Person We Are Looking For
This position is a strong fit for someone who:

Is honest about their abilities, mistakes and progress.
Follows through on responsibilities and keeps commitments.
Understands the importance of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Is willing to learn X.G.C. Innovations’ methods and standards.
Can work independently while also functioning well as part of a small team.
Accepts direction without becoming defensive or argumentative.
Understands that every employee represents the company while inside a customer’s home.
Wants an opportunity to develop greater responsibility as the company grows.
Is seeking stable, long-term employment rather than temporary work between other commitments.
Outside work or business activities must not interfere with attendance, scheduled working
hours, company projects, customer commitments or job performance. This position must be
treated as the employee’s primary work commitment during scheduled working hours.
