EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
One or more years’ experience working in an office environment. Must have excellent computer and interpersonal skills, be punctual, organized, have the ability to multi-task, and work independently. Prefer experience working with adults or children with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Welcomes consumers, families and visitors.
- Checks in consumers, schedules and backfills appointments.
- Collects co-pays, financial and demographic information.
- Tracks and monitors data/reports
- Answers and transfers phone calls, maintains files, processes paperwork.
- Provides clerical support to the team.
Qualifications:
- One or more years’ experience working in a medical office environment.
- Must have excellent computer and interpersonal skills, be punctual, organized, have the ability to multi-task, and work independently.
- Preferred candidates will have experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
