Commercial Cleaner – Independent Contractor (1099) Suwanee / Buford, GA | Sundays & Wednesdays after 7PM | $900/month
Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented independent cleaner to maintain two urgent care facilities in the Suwanee–Buford area. Both locations are cleaned the same day, twice per week — Sundays and Wednesdays after 7PM. After the initial cleaning is conducted with the facility manager, work is performed independently. This is a 1099 contractor position paying $900/month, paid weekly.
You will be responsible for ensuring each facility is spotless, hygienic, and professionally maintained before locking up and uploading before/after photos each visit. If you take pride in your work, follow instructions well, and show up consistently — we want to hear from you.
Schedule
- Sundays after 7PM
- Wednesdays after 7PM
Primary Duties
- Sweep, vacuum (backpack vacuum), and mop all floors
- Dust surfaces and equipment throughout the facility
- Clean and sanitize restrooms thoroughly
- Handle chemical cleaning agents safely, following all safety protocols
- Dispose of waste properly and use eco-friendly products where possible
- Lock facility securely at the end of each visit
- Upload before/after photos after every cleaning session
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting is required; medical office or urgent care experience strongly preferred
- Experience using a backpack vacuum
- Knowledge of environmental service standards and hygienic best practices
- Must be available every Sunday and Wednesday after 7PM without exception
- Reliable transportation to both locations (approximately 30 minutes apart)
- Smartphone with internet access for photo uploads
- Comfortable working independently from a written checklist without on-site supervision
- Able to perform physical duties including standing, bending, lifting, and mopping
- Must not bring non-employees (family, friends, or children) during cleaning
- Must be willing to undergo random on-site quality audits
- Must notify management immediately if late or unable to clean
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to provide at least one professional reference
