Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial, construction and industrial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free of dirt and debris.
- Execute janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing and waxing as needed to keep floors in optimal condition.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and functional environment.
- Handle industrial cleaning responsibilities in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning projects efficiently and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial or custodial positions is preferred.
- Must be Bi-Lingual.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with residential painting and basic maintenance tasks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
