Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in field service with HVAC systems. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. As a Service Technician, you will work independently and collaboratively to address service requests efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and appliances.
- Diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify problems accurately.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and systems.
- Build and design custom solutions for unique service requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in field service, preferably in HVAC or appliance repair.
- Strong understanding of schematics related to mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and troubleshooting methods.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Previous experience in building or designing mechanical solutions is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Experience with Housecall Pro is preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check and have a clear driver's license.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
