We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing high-quality dishes, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring our guests receive outstanding food service. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for food preparation, culinary arts, and teamwork. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food handling areas
- Support cooking activities, including grilling, sautéing, baking, and plating
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Participate in meal preparation for catering events or special functions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and quality control
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Experience working in restaurants or the food industry with a focus on kitchen operations
- Ability to support menu planning and adapt to various dietary needs
- Skilled in food service, catering support, and serving responsibilities
- Demonstrated teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work efficiently under pressure
