Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding processes.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques to join metal components accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on manufacturing floors.
- Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and adherence to specifications.
- Apply mechanical knowledge for pipe threading, machining, and fabrication of complex metal structures.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment while meeting quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven manufacturing background involving metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in schematics and blueprint reading for complex projects.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
