Summary
We are seeking a skilled Lead Maintenance Person to join our team at Willman Industries, Inc. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proactive in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Interacting with vendors to order parts and keep stock on hand.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist with repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate and lead other team members to improve facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is essential.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
