Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Employee Childcare Provider to support families by providing high-quality, nurturing care for children of various ages. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, creativity, and social skills development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow all safety protocols to handle emergencies effectively
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and needs
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with best caregiving standards
Skills
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques
- Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and age-appropriate discipline strategies
- Certified in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response during emergencies
- Experience caring for children with disabilities or special needs with patience and understanding
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members
- Familiarity with classroom experience or caregiving environments that support toddler care, infant care, and preschool activities
