We are a small team focused on Ophthalmology and Optometry care with two offices, on in North Phoenix and the other in Surprise, AZ. We are patient centered and spend ample time in taking care of our patients.
Job Duties include:
Responsibilities
- Work up patients for both vision and medical eye exams (history, visual acuity, pupil testing, etc.)
- Perform specialty testing: visual field, OCT, and corneal topography
- Fit and train patients on contact lenses, including scleral lenses
- Maintain efficient patient flow and communicate updates between doctor and front desk
- Keep accurate, detailed patient records
- Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, calibrated, and ready
- Provide clear, friendly patient education and instructions
- Travel between our Surprise and Phoenix office locations as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience as an optometric or ophthalmic technician preferred
- Experience with contact lens fittings, including scleral lenses, preferred; if not, willingness to learn is required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy clinical environment
- Willingness to learn new diagnostic equipment and procedures
- Reliable transportation for travel between office locations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
