We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in a vibrant café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in the food service industry, we want to hear from you!
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions efficiently using POS systems, including Aloha POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take orders, and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage inventory levels of food and beverage supplies while adhering to food handling safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Demonstrate knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry is essential.
- A genuine passion for coffee and customer service excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
