Die-Max is looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our Tooling department on night shift. In this role, you'll be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining the dies, tools, and fixtures that keep our production lines running smoothly. What You'll Be Doing Day to Day:
- Set up, troubleshoot, and repair progressive and transfer dies during production runs
- Diagnose die-related issues on the press floor and make timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Perform preventive maintenance on tooling to extend die life and reduce breakdowns
- Read and interpret blueprints, die drawings, and engineering specs
- Machine and fabricate replacement components using mills, lathes, grinders, and other precision equipment
- Fit, adjust, and sharpen die components to maintain tight tolerances
- Weld and grind die sections as needed for repair
- Document repairs, part changes, and maintenance history for each die
- Communicate with press operators and the day shift tooling team to hand off open issues and priorities
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
