American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a 599-bed acute care teaching hospital in Florida, requiring at least 2 years of experience and on-call availability.

Work in the Cath Lab of a 599-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
-
Patient population includes those with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, valvular disease, STEMI/NSTEMI, and unstable angina
-
Specialized procedures include cardiac catheterization, high-risk PCI, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, TAVR/MitraClip workups, and research cases
-
Specialized equipment used includes Impella, Shockwave, Rotoblator, CSI, IABP, and laser devices
-
Charting performed in Cerner EMR
-
Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-
On-call required as needed
-
No weekend requirement
-
No floating outside of scope required

Block scheduling is not available for this position

Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)

Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
-
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required

Circulator skills required
-
Conscious sedation skills required
-
Cerner EMR experience preferred

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

No RTO is permitted within the contract; any RTO requests may be discussed during the interview process

Royal blue scrubs required

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
