Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards throughout your shift.
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions, sales, upselling opportunities, and retail sales transactions with precision.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, grills, and other food preparation tools.
- Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Provide excellent customer service by actively engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards within the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Proven ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order processing accurately.
- Customer service background with a focus on serving guests in a fast-paced environment is ideal.
