About Us:
We are a nonprofit licensed 16 bed memory care in need of 2 great Med Techs or trainable CNA's to be RN delegated for medications. Please do not apply if you're unable to work weekends as this position requires weekend work. Must be comfortable working in a camera video surveillance environment. Willingness to take accountability and also have excellent work ethics to arrive on time and ready to work. All employees are on a 90 day probationary period to determine fit and suitability to the position. Duties:
- Provide direct patient care and assist in the delivery of healthcare services
- Perform and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of licensed nurses or physicians
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a senior care facility or hospital
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and medical documentation
- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements and using medical equipment such as Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- Understanding of aseptic technique to maintain infection control standards
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare staff members
